The hand embroidered, whimsical motif in the centre panel has a chinoiserie feel, that emanates sophistication.
The matt finished globe sits gracefully atop the embroidered panel, which is inspired by the mythological peacock, inspired by one of the most famous Chinese fables called ‘Classic of Mountains and Seas’, which is a colorful tale of mythic creatures, rituals and medicine.
The embroidery is handmade by artists in China, and the body is made in Italy.
